5 ways to beat winter blues

Totally agree with you about the yoga, Alex. My yoga practice tends to TRIPLE as I spend less time in the water due to colder NY winters. I also make a point of getting outside and hiking, no matter HOW COLD it is. Thanks for the reminders about Vit D! A good thing to remember on the solstice :) What's up with the green peppers??

    Power Balance Wristbands
    Epic Reps (Chad Baird)

I am the SE sales rep for EFX, one of Power Balances competitors. I was a HUGE skeptic. Byron just about dragged me to the booth. Before the test, I was totally convinced this was all about muscle memory. However, once Byron administered the test I was hooked. All of my concerns that this was some type of scam were taken away. Think of the band like anything else you buy to help your performance. A new race board or paddle could help you shave a few seconds off your time, but if you don't train your butt off and practice excellent technique it doesn't mean you are going to win your race. You can put 100 bands on, it doesn't mean you could go win a strong man competition. EFX bands are a supplement to help a paddler, surfer, golfer, runner... really anyone, take full advantage of his/her training and fitness level. Check out www.efxusa.com for more info!

Eating Alive is my very favorite book from the 80's with a cartoonist to help illustrate some concepts; It's hilarious and easy to read ~ simply explaining how the body's systems work together focusing on digestion... and I agree when you eat alive you truly feel alive!
