Prior to joining the Surftech Team, Mahoney spent 5 years managing the California territory for Boardworks Surf. His extensive understanding of retail, surf and stand up paddleboards, dealer support, enthusiasm and exceptional rapport was reflected in his stellar sales performance and reputation in the industry making him a perfect fit for Surftech's expanding team.

"We set out over a year ago to build a world class team here at Surftech." Says Chris Dunn, CEO. "This is yet another strategic move in our plans to build the best team in the industry and I am confident Ryan will take us to the next level in southwest."

"So-Cal is the center of the surf industry, the retailers in this zone are the first to validate new trends and brands in the surf and paddle space. Mahoney has been traveling this territory every week for the past five years and works with his retailers from sell-in to sell-through." Says Ryan Guay, VP of Sales. "You can guarantee that Ryan will personally surf and paddle every board in our line-up and know every aspect of our line intimately. That's extremely important when it comes to working with our network of retailers. We have multiple brands and a vast collection of models, I know that Ryan will make sure our retailers are stocking the right product for their customers."

"I've always appreciated the product quality that Surftech produces and its brands. With Channel Islands, Bark, Takayama, NSP that's a very sellable quiver that any sales person would love to represent," says Ryan Mahoney. "I'm really excited to get to work with such a great team, there is a tone of energy in the offices and everyone is a surfer and paddler at heart."
