Amelia Island, Florida

Amelia Island is to many a unique and somewhat secret gem along the Atlantic coast of northern Florida. The island has a long and rich history being ruled under 8 different flags including France, Spain and yes, a pirate. Being similar in size to Manhattan the island is surprisingly diverse and contains an abundance of wildlife, un-crowded beaches and scenic vistas all making Amelia Island a true SUP destination.

Amsterdam

As many people might know already, Holland is a country filled with water, a shore line along the country, lakes, rivers and lots of canals to wander through on a paddleboard. One of the best places to go out for a paddle is Amsterdam, famous for its beautiful canals and bridges.

Annapolis, Maryland

Annapolis, the state capital of Maryland, and commonly known as “America’s sailing capital, has been taken by storm by paddle sports!” Situated on the Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Severn river, Annapolis offers a wide variety of paddling conditions. Protected creeks, wide open rivers, and the iconic Chesapeake Bay are paddled daily by paddle enthusiasts ranging from novice paddlers to professional SUP racers.

Australia

If you’re interested in stand up paddle boarding or simply a fan of the outdoors, you’ll have a great time in Australia. The low population density has enabled much of the coastline to remain in pristine condition.

Baja Arizona

The best way to tour the Sonoran Desert in Baja Arizona is by stand up paddleboard. That’s right. What you just read is not a mirage. There are people who hike, bike and the like, but stand up paddle boarders can see everything from the water. Think about it. Everything from the iconic saguaro cactus to trees (mesquite, palo verde and cottonwood), to reeds and grasses, grow near or next to water.

Barbados

Barbados or Bim, as it is lovingly referred to by its local inhabitants, is a perfect island paradise for the progressive adventuring paddle boarder. With its rich history, Barbados packs a real punch in its 166 square mile package.

At the border of Switzerland and France lies a beautiful mountainous region of Southwest Germany known as Black Forest. Brevard County, Florida

Located on the beautiful east coast of Florida, less than an hour drive from Orlando, lies Brevard County, a true standup paddle boarder's paradise. Brevard County is home to a wide array of unique paddling destinations.

British Columbia

British Columbia is Canada's most westerly province, and is a mountainous area whose population is mainly clustered in its southwestern corner. BC, as it’s most commonly referred to as, is Canada’s third-largest province after Québec and Ontario, making up 10 per cent of Canada’s land surface.

Cambodia

Cambodia is best known for its temples of Angkor Wat and its dark history with the genocide of Pol Pot. But even Angelina Jolie who has starred in and produced award winning films in Cambodia, has found the country to also be a great SUP destination.

Central Idaho

Aptly known as the “Whitewater State,” Idaho boasts more navigable river miles than any other in the U.S. not to mention a profusion of pristine alpine lakes — all swathed in a tapestry of national forests (Boise, Sawtooth and Salmon-Challis), dramatic mountains, and deep gorges.

Chicago, Illinois

The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) operates the nation's second largest public transportation system. Trains and buses cover the City of Chicago and 35 surrounding suburbs. Zipping around on one of the shared Divvy bikes is also a convenient way to explore the city.

Coron Island, Palawan

Few destinations can hold a candle to the brilliance of Palawan. Located in the west of the Philippines, more than 1,780 islands form an archipelago that stretches almost as far south as Borneo and north to the island of Mindoro.

The Dominican Republic is situated in the Caribbean region and is about two-thirds of Hispaniola's eastern portion, consisting of twenty-nine provinces, and has a total land area of about 48,730 square kilometers (18,810 square miles).
