Hanohano Sets the Bar for 2017 Race Season

After weeks of wet and stormy weather in San Diego, California, Saturday morning was greeted with sunshine and perfect conditions to hold the 21st annual Hanohano Huki Ocean Challenge. As usual, the event was filled with excitement and anticipation to kick off the 2017 race season.

Carolina Cup Adds Trade Show in 2017

Already one of the biggest and paramount paddle gatherings in the world, the West Marine Carolina Cup is expanding in 2017 with the addition of a one-day retailer-only trade show, a nine-mile outrigger canoe race with six-person teams, and a 6.5-mile junior championship standup paddle board race for youth under 18.

Cali Paddler will be hosting a first of its kind retreat March 3-5 in Santa Barbara County for the paddling community. The all-inclusive Friday-Sunday event is aimed to bring together paddlers of all craft backgrounds and create a welcoming atmosphere for all skill levels.

Event Aims To Push Limits of Downwind Racing

On Tuesday the 12th of January, a group of six stand up paddlers, invitee riders of the Paddle Storm Master event including the likes of Eric Terrien and Martin Letourneur, gathered for a crazy downwind in the “Rade de Brest, Brittany”, to try the first course option and the safety facilities before the official event.

Standup for the Cure Announces 2017 Dates

Over the years Standup for the Cure has become one of the biggest charity events in the stand up paddle community raising money and awareness for early Breast Cancer detection while growing our incredible sport.
