The annual Painkiller Cup, the Caribbean’s most exciting SUP race, has announced it will be on January 23, 2016. Offering a minimum $10,000 purse, the event features a 14-mile downwind relay race with a finish at the famous Soggy Dollar Bar on Jost Van Dyke.

Candice Appleby finished the season unbeaten after another win, but she had to work hard here in Hawaii after being pushed all the way by the rising young star Fiona Wylde. For the men, it was ratings leader Kai Lenny who was able to secure his third Stand Up World Series Title after winning Stop #4 on the 2015 World Series with a win in the Sprint racing in a climatic finish at Turtle Bay Resort.
The first day of the World Series Finals at Turtle Bay presented by Naish saw Connor Baxter and Fiona Wylde dominate in the long distance races to take the well deserved victory.
It's that time of year once again, when the World's best Racers return to stand up paddling's birthplace in Hawaii for the climactic close to the 2015 World Championship season. It is only fitting that the World Championship Series should return to Hawaii to crown its Champions, and there is no better place than Oahu's fabled North Shore, and the unparalleled sporting arena that Turtle Bay Resort provides.
The first annual Pacific Paddle Games presented by Salt Life featured big waves, great weather and the world’s best paddling athletes. That combination made for a fantastically successful event. In the most important prize of the weekend, Connor Baxter and Candice Appleby captured overall titles earning them each a significant chunk of the history-making $55,000 prize purse.
The surf was big Saturday during the opening day of the Pacific Paddle Games presented by Salt Life in Dana Point, California. But the athletic performances more than matched the oversized waves.
