Who is it for?
If you’re looking for a very stable, inflatable, all-around board to paddle that’s in the affordable price range of under $1,000 then the Air Glide Flow is worth a look. This stand up paddle (SUP) board comes in the DSC construction which durable and has its ups and downs. Due to its width of 34 inches the board is extremely stable and its construction is relatively lightweight weighing 21.8 lbs, with 2.08 lbs per foot. Its shape makes the Air Glide Flow an all-around board that can be used by everyone and was designed primarily for recreation. Its construction and shape combined best fit this board for paddling short distances, around the beach and dock or on the river. Retailing at $999, this board is in the affordable mid-tier market in terms of affordability.
First Impressions
On first impressions, the graphics and color are very simple, the shape design is quite commonplace and the construction strikes as durable. The Air Glide Flow has a very clean look and takes a simplistic approach with graphics and colors. The packaging that the board comes in is stunning and has a very high-quality, premium feel to it. The shape design is standard for boards in these categories and offers features tailored primarily for recreational paddling. The construction appears durable, as something that can handle constant yet careful use. This paddle board is easy to carry due to its weight being only 21.8 lbs and the glide feels slow which is to be expected since speed-centric design is not the focus. The board comes with a leash and repair kit and also has compatibility with FCS II fins which is very convenient being that it’s tool-less. With everything put together the Air Glide Flow is a very stable, premium inflatable board for an affordable price that everyone should be able to paddle with ease no matter the skill level.
