It was an epic final day of action at the New York SUP Open, as crystal clear blue skies and perfect conditions greeted the APP World Tour athletes as they assembled in front of one of the most recognizable skylines in the World: Manhattan, New York for the final showdown of this mega event that is stop #2 of the 2019 APP World Tour.

Lady Liberty did not disappoint. The greatest stand up paddle athletes on the planet gathered to test the waters of the Hudson River in NYC over the weekend on Day #1 of the New York SUP Open, 2nd stop of the APP World Tour. Everybody said it was a bucket list item. Every paddler has a story to tell. It was one iconic event, not to be soon forgot. Here's the recap.

As has already been said of the 2017 edition of Red Bull Heavy Water, the event lived up to its name this year as the Bay Area delivered a XXL swell to challenge the very best paddlers in the world in a way they have never been challenged before.
