In the days following the tragedies in Paris, many were unsure if the 2015 Nautic SUP Crossing in Paris, France would go on as planned. Stand Up Paddle Boarding Through Algarve's Legendary Benagil Caves

Is there a better way to explore Algarve’s remote marine caves than via SUP? Probably not. The Basecampers, who are a group of friends traveling around the world seeking alternative experiences in popular travel destinations, traveled to Faro in the Portugal’s Algarve region where Nick Robinson, a SUP instructor in the area, guided them through the legendary Benagil caves. 5th Annual Hellenic SUP Cup 2015 Faces Challenging Conditions

With cloudy weather, winds at a strong 25-30 knots and the temperature really low, organizers were facing the worst case scenario, just one day before the race, which was postponing or even canceling the race. On race day, 167 paddlers were given the go-ahead to take part in a challenging day on the water for the 5th annual Corinth Canal SUP Crossing.

Puyo & Guedson Dominate French SUP Championships

At the 2015 French National SUP Championships it was European powerhouses Titouan Puyo and Celine Guedson who took the 2015 championship. After a long weekend of racing, Puyo and Guedson slayed both the long distance race as well as the technical race for the men and women, giving the the two athletes an outstanding lead against their competitors and the overall victories for the event.

Red Paddle Co Wins Euro SUPA Surf Title With New Surf Design - The Whip

Spaniard Xavi Masdevall has had a fantastic European SUP surf champs, taking the win in the Inflatable division. The conditions were near perfect with 3ft - 4ft clean swell peeling off the sand bars at Cantabria in Northern Spain. Xavi was riding the 2016 Red Paddle Co "The Whip" - the 8'10" shape is the latest design innovation to come from the team at Red Paddle Co.

São Jorge 2 Pico 2015 Race Sees Difficulties And Camaraderie

For the second consecutive year stand up paddle athletes crossed the channel between the islands of Pico and São Jorge. The SãoJorge2Pico race, an oceanic event between islands that integrates adventure, effort, navigation and concentration, was held this past July 11th, 2015.
