For the first time ever, SUP Surfing medals were handed out at the Pan American Games.

After a weekend filled with anticipation and excitement surrounding who would make team USA for the 2017 ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championships we’re happy to announce the athletes that made the cut.

We can already tell by watching this short trailer that The Progression Project, a SUP Surfing film by PaddleWoo and Erik Antonson, is going to be a must-see. For this film, PaddleWoo assembled nine of the world's best paddle surfers in the Blue Zone of Costa Rica to document and define the current state of paddle surfing.

The inaugural Hobie/Salt Life Wrightsville Beach Pro-AM is now in the books and it will likely be remembered for the amazing young talent that was put on display in this surf obsessed beach town.
