The ISA today celebrates the great success of Surfing and StandUp Paddle's (SUP) debut appearance in the Lima 2019 Pan American Games.

For the first time ever, SUP Surfing medals were handed out at the Pan American Games.

Brazil's Lena Ribeiro and USA's Connor Baxter made SUP Racing history on Friday morning by being crowned the first-ever Pan American Games Gold Medalists for the sport of Surfing and SUP.

A full day of talent-packed elimination rounds narrowed the field of competitors in contention for medals at the Lima 2019 Pan American Games surfing competition.

After shortboard and longboard debuted in the Pan Am Games on Monday, the best SUP surfers of the Americas got their chance to take center stage with their first heats.

SUP surfer Amit Inbar loves exploring and trying new places especially when he can bring his stand up paddle board (SUP), surfboard and other water toys along for the adventure. Recently, Amit ventured down to Chicama, Peru where he got up close and personal with the longest left hand point break in the world. Hear about his journey below.

In September 2015, UK paddler Charlie Head departed the United Kingdom and headed to Peru, to the primary source of the Amazon River, a glacier that is 4000 meters up in the Andes Mountains. From there, he embarked on an eight week paddle along 1800km of the Amazon to Iquitos, taking in whitewater, equipment catastrophes and one of his trademark animal rescues. The journey was filmed as part of a documentary for Red Bull TV.
