Last weekend 72 youth SUP competitors, from six different countries, gathered in Orange County for the 4th Annual Quickblade Jr Pro & Youth SupFiesta presented by Infinity SUP.

The 4th Annual Quickblade Jr Pro & Youth SupFiesta presented by Infinity SUP announces the list of invitees for the Junior Pro division. Top sup athletes from around the world will battle through highly competitive heats until a champion is awarded the coveted, “El Sombrero.”

Get ready for the 4th Annual Quickblade Jr Pro & Youth SupFiesta presented by Infinity SUP. In its fourth year, the 2016 SUP Fiesta has outgrown a one-day event and the new format this year will allow competitors to focus on one discipline each day. With the events starting in the afternoon, there is plenty of time for athletes, spectators, and sponsors to attend the Standup for the Cure event in the morning, then make the short drive across the bay to the Newport Aquatic Center.

Performance Paddling is excited to announce the 4th Annual Quickblade Jr Pro & Youth SupFiesta presented by Infinity on May 7 - 8, 2016.  Once again the top youth sup athletes in the world will congregate for the largest youth only sup event in the world. This unique event is comprised of three components, a Junior Pro Invitational Sup Surfing competition, Age Group SUP Surfing contest (7 divisions), and an Age Group SUP Race (7 divisions).

2015 was a stand out year for the young Mo Freitas. Mo traveled across the globe and was a top performing athlete in practically every race in which he participated. The 3rd Annual Performance Paddling Junior Pro & Youth SUP Fiesta, an annual all kids stand up surf and race competition at Bolsa Chica State Beach took place on Sunday May 3, 2015 and it was definitely an event to remember. Check out this killer video from the event.

The world’s top young standup paddle athletes are coming to Huntington Beach, California for the sport’s most prestigious youth event.  With seven divisions of age group surf racing, seven divisions of age group sup surfing, and the Junior Pro Invitation sup surfing contest, it is going to be an action packed day of competition.

In its 3rd year, the “Supfiesta” has become the most prestigious youth event of the year. The top youth SUP athletes in the world will compete in Huntington Beach, California on Sunday, May 3, 2015.
