This year's event will include a Ghost Town Paddle, a Pro Race and a Luck of the Draw Relay. Pro Racers will have a chance to earn a spot in the next day’s H2O Overdrive Weber River Cross Presented by Boardworks.
The blue waters of the Jordanelle, fed by the previous winter's snow melt, will provide a beautiful course for participants in this year's event.

PARK CITY, Utah - Come paddle the H2O Overdrive SUP CUP Series. Race against the West’s best in the $5,000 PRO Race, immerse yourself & friends in the Ghost Town Paddle and Luck of the Draw Relay. This championship style event will be held high up in Utah’s scenic mountain country at Jordanelle State Park located just outside of Park City, Utah.
Designed for the advance & adventurous paddler, the H2O Overdrive SUP CUP PRO Race will be a demanding 5-mile course that tests not only the endurance but also the technical skills of stand-up paddle racers.
The PRO Race will have men (14’ class) & women (12’6” class) and offers a $5,000 cash purse including lap cash premiums. Pro Racers will have a chance to earn a spot in the next day’s H2O Overdrive Weber River Cross Presented by Boardworks. This prestigious first time river event will bring together the sport's top professional racers and West's top river paddlers in an exciting board-cross format.
The Pro Race is a WPA sanctioned race and part of the WPA national race series that offers competitors qualifying spots for the 2011 Hennessey’s-WPA World Championship in September. Any competitor that finishes in the top 20% of their board division in the Long course race of a National race and or finish in the top 5 of their board division through September 10, 2011 in the National race series will receive a qualifying spot. Line-up for the Ghost Town Paddle, a fun open age group course open to all types of craft (12’6”, 14’ & unlimited) and skill level. Take on the four-mile loop above Keetley, Utah a ghost town submerged by the waters of Jordanelle Reservoir.
Following lunch, there will be a “Luck of the Draw Relay” team race. All event participants names are dropped in a bucket and our VIP Elite racers will be required to pick names of two paddlers from the bucket to complete their 3-person teams.
New this year is the Saturday night event party and "World Premiere" showing of “Stand Up The Movie” at NewPark Resort. You do not want to miss out on the evening's great entertainment including musical performance by "American Hitman"
All participants will receive a cool event tee and H2O Overdrive racer’s kit full of sponsor samples. Racers will also enjoy a delicious lunch at the event.

After spending the first part of her life in Minnesota, Morgan traded in her snow boots for sandals and moved to sunny California. After graduating with a degree in Communication from The University of Southern California, she eventually made her way down south to San Diego and is taking advantage of the living by the best beaches and burritos California has to offer. If it’s sunny, you can find her at the beach relaxing, or exploring the calm water in the bay via paddleboards and kayaks.
