SAO PAULO, Brazil – The Stand Up World Tour held the AlmaSurf Mormaii International this past weekend on the shore pounding waves of Maresias. The event has concluded and Brazilian Leco Salazar takes a much deserved win in front of a home crowd.
But with his second place finish, Kai Lenny clenches his second World Championship Title on the Stand Up World Tour. Salazar’s first place finish in Brazil puts him in second place in the overall standings but even with a win at the Hawaii Island Finals, he would be unable to overtake Lenny in the final scoring.
With the first and second place spots already nabbed by Lenny and Salazar, the Hawaii Island Finals, scheduled to be held from November 26th to December 4th, will determine who finishes among the rest of the pack.
