Shakira Westdorp setting up for something big.
NEW SOUTH WALES, Australia - Lookout 2016! Starboard’s Shakira Westdorp is coming in hot into the new year and with one thing on her mind: winning the Stand Up World Tour world title for 2016. Shakira had an incredible year in 2015 and placed second overall on the SUP World Tour and is looking to one-up herself this year.
Shakira will easily be a contender for the top spot of the tour this year but with competitors and fellow Starboard teammates like Izzi Gomez and Fiona Wylde with their eye on the prize as well, this task won’t come easy. Shakira does look ready though as she recently released this edit of her surfing at home in Australia and to put it lightly, she’s ripping. Check out the video below and see what we mean.
