Paddle Board Highlights
Who is it for?
If you’re in search of a very affordable, very lightweight, smaller inflatable paddleboard, take a look at the Aqua Marina Breeze. This board is offered as a 9’10” so it’s going to be best suited for paddlers of smaller stature or youth. The Breeze is an all around paddleboard so it’s going to be suited for a little bit of everything. This paddleboard is going to be best for paddling shorter distances and flatwater conditions. The Breeze comes with everything you need to get started: the board, pump, paddle, leash, bag and fin. At $469 USD, this board is a great value.
First Impressions
In terms of aesthetics, the board showcases a captivating green color throughout, accentuated by subtle touches of red on the bungees, paddle, and leash. Its size is relatively compact compared to standard boards commonly found in the market, making it ideal for smaller paddlers. The reduced dimensions contribute to its remarkable lightweight nature, facilitating effortless transportation and maneuverability on the water. The accompanying bag provided with the Breeze is adequately spacious, offering additional room in case you wish to carry a towel or other small items. While paddling, the board provides a reasonably stable experience despite its smaller size. However, if you are a beginner who is taller or larger in build, you might find it slightly less stable. Regarding its technology, the Breeze incorporates Aqua Marina's Drop Stitch Lite Technology, which surprisingly demonstrates notable durability. The materials used in its construction convey a sense of quality and resilience, capable of withstanding frequent use. While the board itself does not boast an abundance of features, it does include a bungee system on the board's nose and a couple of D-rings on the tail, allowing for potential attachments. The included 3-piece adjustable paddle performs adequately for lightweight paddling. However, if you plan on engaging in longer paddling sessions, it may be worth considering an upgrade to a more premium option. In summary, Aqua Marina's package offers excellent value for its price point, particularly if you are seeking a product below the $500 range. Just keep in mind that it is best suited for smaller paddlers.
