The package includes: a leash, a four piece paddle, a dual action pump, a highlighter yellow square backpack, as well as a bungee to go on the nose. This paddle board is best suited for short range paddling and in calm, flatwater conditions. Priced at $429 USD, the Super Nova sits in the low price point tier and is among the most affordable ones you can find.

The Super Nova measures at 11 feet long, 32 inches wide, and 6 inches thick. At first glance, its vibrant colors and graphics make it really pop in a crowd. It showcases a beautiful combination of teal blue, with pops of highlighter yellow, and lime green throughout. The white deckpad and the matching yellow carry bag further complement the color scheme. What sets this board apart, especially considering its price range, is the utilization of double chamber technology, which adds an invaluable safety element to the package. Typically found in more expensive inflatables, this feature deserves special attention. On another note, one thing to point out is that when we pumped the board to the recommended 15 PSI, we noticed that the nose of the board didn’t look fully inflated with the indentations there. Something to keep in mind. Aside from that, the board is lightweight making it effortless to transport to the water's edge. Once on the water, the board exhibits moderate stability but provides a smooth glide. One thing that we think could be improved here would be to extend the deck pad down to the tail of the board so there’s more grip there. Having that added grip is really helpful when doing pivot turns and without it can get slippery. Overall, the Aztron Super Nova represents a nice choice for budget-conscious families or individuals looking to start paddleboarding.

The colors of the Super Nova really make the board stand out at first glance. It features a beautiful teal blue with a highlighter yellow and accents of gray, with a white deckpad and a matching yellow carry bag that the board comes with. The color coordination here is great. What’s somewhat rare for a board at this price point is the utilization of the double chamber technology, which adds a great safety element to the package. We typically only see this feature in higher-end inflatables so this is definitely something to take note of. The Super Nova is nice and lightweight making it really easy to carry down to the water. Once on the water, the board had an average stability, but had a very nice glide when going through the water. The board also had good maneuverability and turns were very easy. The paddle was nice in that it was lightweight, but it being a four-piece paddle, you could tell that it wasn’t as sturdy compared to a two-piece paddle. Overall, the Aztron Super Nova would be a great budget-friendly starter board for any family or individual.
