She took 1st at the Boardworks Round-up in the distance race, sprint, & the tug-of-war. She took third at Santa Cruz SUP Fest. Should she be your 2011 SUP woman of the year?

Rachel Bruntsch

This year she took second at the Steinlager Kaiwi Channel Solo OC-1 World Championship and third at the Battle of the Paddle as well as third at the Hennessey race. Previously, she wasn't a surfer and didn't engage much in water sports. But after being introduced to SUP, she's an avid and charging surfer riding big and small waves.
