Jamie Mitchell, an Australian waterman and 10x champion of the Molokai2Oahu Channel Cross, was on the North Shore of Oahu in Hawaii over the past few days and took some time to chat about the history of his waterman life.

OAHU, Hawaii – Jamie Mitchell, an Australian waterman and 10x champion of the Molokai2Oahu Channel Cross, was on the North Shore of Oahu in Hawaii over the past few days and took some time to chat about the history of his waterman life.
Mitchellhas achieved an unprecedented record at what is considered the "world's traditional paddleboard championship," the Molokai2Oahu Channel crossing. Holding a total of 10 titles, in a competition which is held in one of the most treacherous seas, the Aussie lifeguard, surfer, stand up paddler, and traditional paddleboarder has earned enormous respect from the world waterman community.
