The APP World Tour will once again crown its World Champions for SUP Surfing and SUP Longboard Surfing for Men, Women and Juniors in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Entries are now open for the APP World Tour's Gran Canaria Pro-Am, taking place from the 3rd - 8th December 2024.
The 2022 Gran Canaria Pro Am had it all. Leco Salazar was crowned as the first ever SUP Longboard World Champion. We saw the new generation of SUP Surfers make their debut on the international SUP scene. And in front of a huge crowed at El Lloret, we watched Kaede Inoue and Benoit Carpentier claim the World Titles in perfect conditions.
This month, the APP World Tour will be returning to beautiful Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to host the world's best paddling athletes at stop #1 of the World Surfing Tour.
After extensive discussion with government, tourism, our local organization and all local partners involved with the Gran Canaria Pro-Am, it is with great disappointment that the APP has no choice but to postpone the 2020 edition of the Gran Canaria Pro-Am until 2021.
With a 3rd place in the event, Tahitian Poenaiki Raioha ends the 2019 season by winning his first APP World Title in a very emotional moment.
