Baxter & Honscheid Win In Dramatic Fashion In Germany

After ratings leaders Fiona Wylde and Casper Steinfath took victory in the Sprints during harsh weather on Saturday, Sunday cleared up and provided excellent conditions for the distance race where Michael Booth and Sonni Honscheid pushed through to take the win. After the two races Connor Baxter and Sonni Honscheid claimed the overall win for the second stop of the Stand Up World Series.

Red Bull Heavy Water Announced As Addition To 2016 Stand Up World Series Circuit

Red Bull Heavy Water, arguably the most intense stand up paddling event in the world, is announced as part of the 2016 Stand Up World Series circuit, with an event window from September 1 to 28. The location will guarantee 40 of the world’s best SUP athletes, waves over 10ft. high, and consist of an open course that stretches 12km (7.5 miles), starting at Ocean Beach and finishing just past the Golden Gate Bridge.

Kai Lenny Introduces Downwind Hydrofoiling

Kai Lenny has always been pushing the boundaries of stand up paddling and he’s just done it again by introducing a new crossover of sorts with a hydrofoil and his SUP, making it his craft of choice for a downwinder.  This project has been in the works for awhile and thanks to Go Foil, and Naish, they’ve helped Kai to make his vision a reality.

International Paddlers Come Together For 8th Annual Olukai Ho’olaule’a

The 8th annual OluKai Ho’olaule’a three-day ocean festival kicks off today, Friday, April 29th, on Maui’s North Shore with the second annual ‘Demo Day,’ offering locals and visitors the opportunity to meet with the pros, gain valuable last minute race tips and an opportunity to test out the latest boards and equipment. The 2016 OluKai Ho’olaule’a is set to be the biggest yet in the event’s history bringing together around 600 of the world’s elite paddlers to race the famous Maliko Downwind Run for the largest gender equal prize purse of $15,000.

Bouyer Brothers SUP Tandem Surfing In France

The Bouyer brothers, Julien and Camille, shot this awesome video of themselves having some tandem fun at their home spot île de Ré which is an island off the west coast of France. Action-Packed Trailer Released For The Progression Project

We can already tell by watching this short trailer that The Progression Project, a SUP Surfing film by PaddleWoo and Erik Antonson, is going to be a must-see. For this film, PaddleWoo assembled nine of the world's best paddle surfers in the Blue Zone of Costa Rica to document and define the current state of paddle surfing.
