SAN DIEGO, California - Sean Poynter gives viewers a demo and some insider info about the 2014 7'4 x 25.5" SUP Pro from Starboard, one of the featured models in their new Catalogue. 

All one has to do is look at the official Sean Poynter website to know that he is quite a talent, and the proof is in the results.  Over the past year of contests, traveling and varied competitions Sean has racked up quite a list of accomplishments.  The most recent of which was being featured on the cover of "SUP International" magazine which just recently hit stands.

Sean Poynter (Starboard) from the USA stormed to victory yesterday here at the Sapinus Pro presented by Air Tahiti Nui to secure his first win on Tour and place him comfortably on top of the world after round 3 of the 2012 Stand Up World Tour.  

Zane Schweitezer claims his first win at the Stand Up Paddle World Surf Tour while his fellow Maui islander, Kai Lenny, claims once again the title of world champion, coming in second place at the last leg of the tour.

Standup paddle surf contest went down in one of the world's heaviest waves, Puerto Escondido, Mexico. Waves were well in the head-high range and standup paddle surfers had to execute surgically precise turns to make through the barrel sections.
