Werner Paddles ambassador Fiona Wylde is off a pretty big trip overseas getting to explore and race in Asia and Europe as she competes in a series of SUP events and races over the summer. This week, Fiona shares footage from surfing the super amazing, "Eisbach" wave in Germany and the "Lost Mills" race (where she took the Bronze medal.) Go Foils are the latest and greatest trend on the water right now with stand up paddling and although it’s not the first time we’ve seen hydrofoiling mixed with stand up paddling, it’s now starting to blow up. The production team over at Starboard SUP has been working on incorporating the Go Foils into their product line and they’ve just started taking pre-orders for their surf and race boards.

While on a recent trip to Hawaii, SUP shaper Todd Caranto caught a bluefin trevally fish while simultaneously surfing on a Pau Hana Big EZ Angler stand up paddle board on Oahu's North Shore. After getting rolled in a wave, he recovers control to reel in the prize.
