Surftech Blazes Into 2016 With A Whole Lot Of Momentum

Surftech, The Original Board Manufacturing Company, is excited to kick off 2016 at the Surf Expo Trade Show January 14th-16th at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida with the official relaunch of the Donald Takayama Collection, the introduction of Surftech’s signature series, the EMQ. These two additions complement the new TLPC line of boards and the recent addition of NSP to the Surftech family of brands.

Australian All-Rounder Jamie Mitchell To Compete In The Ultimate Waterman

Australian Jamie Mitchell will line-up against the world’s best watermen in a quest to win the 2016 Ultimate Waterman title. Mitchell will join eight other athletes from around the world, including fellow countryman and waterman Mark Visser, in New Zealand from the 12-20 March, 2016. They’ll compete in eight surf disciplines to decide who is the best overall waterman.

Denmark Launches Bid To Become First European Host For 2017 SUP World Championships

Denmark has become the first country to announce a bid for the 2017 ISA World StandUp Paddle & Paddleboard Championship. If successful, Denmark would become the first European country to host the World Championship. The ISA World StandUp Paddle & Paddleboard Championship has never been staged outside of Latin America, so Denmark is hoping to play a leading part in showcasing the exciting and developing sport to a European audience.
