Australian Jamie Mitchell will line-up against the world’s best watermen in a quest to win the 2016 Ultimate Waterman title. Mitchell will join eight other athletes from around the world, including fellow countryman and waterman Mark Visser, in New Zealand from the 12-20 March, 2016. They’ll compete in eight surf disciplines to decide who is the best overall waterman.

Denmark has become the first country to announce a bid for the 2017 ISA World StandUp Paddle & Paddleboard Championship. If successful, Denmark would become the first European country to host the World Championship.
