Sean Poynter Talks SUP Tips Series

Over the past 15 weeks professional stand up paddle surfer Sean Poynter has provided the world of stand up paddle boarding a series of tips for those looking to better their SUP surfing skills. Stand Up World Tour And World Series Brazil Event Cancelled For 2015

After the postponement of the Grand Slam event back in March, it was with great disappointment that the Waterman League announced the cancellation of this year’s Stand Up World Series and World Tour stop in Brazil, citing another request for postponement late in the day, leaving them no choice but to cancel for 2015.

Before opening its doors to the public on August 1, 2015, Surf Snowdonia opened its doors to the Starboard SUP team to test out the manmade wave park. The Starboard SUP team went to the park to test its feasibility for SUP and to see what the local area had to offer.

Laird Hamilton Featured In ESPN's Body Issue 2015

This week it was announced that waterman and standup paddle pioneer Laird Hamilton had made an appearance in the highly anticipated annual issue of ESPN's Body Issue where athletes are selected and pose nude to showcase their athletic form in a tasteful and artistic way. Laird appears with his wife who is also a former professional volleyball player, Gabrielle Reece.

SUP Fiesta 2015 Event Video

The 3rd Annual Performance Paddling Junior Pro & Youth SUP Fiesta, an annual all kids stand up surf and race competition at Bolsa Chica State Beach took place on Sunday May 3, 2015 and it was definitely an event to remember. Check out this killer video from the event.
