Sean Poynter (Starboard) from the USA stormed to victory yesterday here at the Sapinus Pro presented by Air Tahiti Nui to secure his first win on Tour and place him comfortably on top of the world after round 3 of the 2012 Stand Up World Tour.  

Since the World Tour's first visit to Tahiti in 2009 for the Stand Up World Tour Contenders, Tahiti has become firmly entrenched at the heart of the Stand Up World Tour with some of the most groundbreaking action ever witnessed in the sport. 

Starboard's Dave Muir has just won the third leg of the Stand Up World Tour, the He'e Nalu TNTV Sapinus Pro. The Tahitian lego do the Standup World Surf Tour had some of the world's best on hand.
