Paddle Boarding The Mighty 790-Mile Ottawa River

Paul Gauvreau tells his story of becoming the first to paddle board the 790-mile mighty Ottawa River. With 14 hydro-electric dams, over 60 rapids and waterfalls, 45+ portages (mostly through untracked bush) his tent, dry food, survival kit and stand up paddle board is all he needed.

Father to Paddle 200 Miles to Raise Awareness for Rare Disease

In July 2016, Rich Wygand’s first child, Luke, was born with a rare genetic disorder causing severe muscle weakness called Nemaline Myopathy (NM). Rich is planning to paddle 200 miles on his stand up paddle (SUP) board from Lake Worth Beach to Key West, Florida in June of 2018 in an effort to raise awareness and funds for the rare disease that affects his son.
