CLARENCE RIVER, NSW, Australia - Beau Nixon has been doing standup paddle adventures throughout Australia and he has put together some amazing how-to videos of his travels. On his most recent venture, Beau takes us down the Clarence River via his Naish Inflatable SUP.
The Clarence River is the second longest river in Australia and stretches over 400km from its source in the neighbouring state of Queensland. The river cascades along vast expanses of farmlands for the majority of its length before emptying into the ocean at the coastal town of Yamba. The Clarence River was first inhabited by the indigenous Australians, and first discovered by escaped convicts of the European settlement. The river also houses Woodford Island, the largest inland island in the Southern Hemisphere.
