In a recent episode of SIC Talk Story Brews & Boards, where SIC Maui hosts interviews, paddling tips and training tips from ambassadors and athletes around the world, SIC Global Athlete Lincoln Dews and paddling partner Nick Ray chat about their expedition down the Nymboida River.
The Nymboida River is Australia's longest white water river and both Lincoln and Nick wanted to give her a run. The two paddlers ended up paddling 120 miles unsupported in 82 hours. The plan for this trip was not only to push their paddling limits but to raise money for a good cause, the Shake It Up Foundation for Parkinson's disease and Gold Coast Youth.
Check out the episode below where Lincoln and Nick dive into their adventure and talk with SIC Maui team manager and host of SIC Talk Story Brews & Boards, Casi Rynkowski.
