If you need advice about paddling at night, or perhaps you need to brush up on your Nederlands, ask this guy. If not, get your stand up paddleboard to the Netherlands and compete in the final race of the Dutch SUP season.

ROTTERDAM, Netherlands - The Night of Brouwersdam is this year’s last Dutch SUP race and will be held on the evening of Saturday, October 22nd.
The Nacht Van Brouwersdam is a 10 kilometre downwind race on open water (seaside) and has its finish after dark. Competitors and their gear will be transported to the starting location at sunset. The finish will be at Beachclub ‘t Gorsje where there will be a great party waiting.
All competitors will be equipped with safety lights. There will be ample support from lifeguards, RIBs and jet skis during the race. Leash and Wetsuits are obviously obligated. Flares and Lights are offered to you with compliments from our sponsors.
There will be a ranking for both Race boards (open class) and all around/wave board riders (fun class). There are lots of activities during the day as well. Supporters and friends can enjoy watching the Dutch Rafting Cup at ‘t Gorsje or participate in SUP clinics and tests.
The ‘Night of the Bouwersdam’ is not just a sportive challenge; there will also be lots of entertainment with life music from Stereo Diva’s, DJ Miss Monica, Violinist Anastacia and many more.

Send us an e-mail with your name and phone number at rotterdamsup@gmail.com. We will get in touch with you personally and will send you the register form. The entree fee is only €10, and can be paid for at the registration desk on racing day before the skippers meeting.
Attention! Pre-race registration is obligated because of the safety measures for the competitors.

Morgan Becker
After spending the first part of her life in Minnesota, Morgan traded in her snow boots for sandals and moved to sunny California. After graduating with a degree in Communication from The University of Southern California, she eventually made her way down south to San Diego and is taking advantage of the living by the best beaches and burritos California has to offer. If it’s sunny, you can find her at the beach relaxing, or exploring the calm water in the bay via paddleboards and kayaks.
