Attending a standup paddle boarding event is one of the best ways to enjoy the sport. February 2023 Paddle Boarding Events
Hal Rosoff Classic
The Hal Rosoff Classic is a paddling race in Newport Harbor consisting of a short and long course for outriggers, kayaks, prone, K1's, C1's, and stand up paddle boards. The annual race is in the second week of February and attracts between 100 and 200 participants from Southern California.

101 Surf Sports Mardi Gras Paddle Race #5
Grab your best water-safe (no cotton) costume for our Mardi Gras racing event! Winners in both men's and women's divisions will be announced at the awards ceremony. The entire race series will also have an Inflatable Paddleboard Category. We are stoked on the performance of these boards and look forward to seeing lots of inflatables out on the race course. We even have a dedicated inflation station set for you to make pumping up easy. This is a perfect race for first-time racers and elite athletes alike.

Lanakila Classic
Lanakila intends to put on a challenging race for the Paddling Community. There will be an ocean race for outriggers, surfskis, V1, SUP, paddleboards, a 1000m kids course, a 5 mi. short course and a 9 mi. long course. Must have three in a division to be awardable. Divisions subject to be combined by craft and gender (regardless of age division) to make division awardable on race day.
