November 2021 Paddle Boarding Events

Carolina Cup

The 10th Annual Carolina Cup is a week-long event featuring over a dozen clinics and 5 races. Wednesday through Friday there are several fun clinics, as well as Demos on Friday through Sunday. On Saturday, there is a 3.5-mile Harbor Island Recreational race, 6.5-mile Money Island Open Race, the dreaded 13-mile Graveyard Elite Race and The Graveyard Outrigger and Surfski race. On Sunday we are introducing the Three island challenge for the six man/woman outrigger canoe discipline, as well as the Kids Race.

Carolina Pro Am

The Carolina Pro/Am in it's 6th year is a two-day Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Surf event, drawing the top amateur and Pro paddle surfers from around the country and the world. The “First Comp” division will again be offered for all first-time contest competitors and the Haywood Newkirk Amateur Award honoring the best combined finish in Open and Longboard divisions that will awarded to a male or female.

Another Dam Race

The 11th Annual ADR is a 7 mile race down the calm waters of the Colorado River along the Parker, Arizona strip. ADR brings teams and paddlers from Hawaii, Canada, California and Texas and is open to all the paddle families. The infamous Ono Grinds and Racers raffle where paddlers talk story with old and new friends. The perfect end to the paddle season.

Nish Pombo Paddlefest Miami 2021

Want to have fun in the sun in November. Kana Lui Miami Outrigger Canoe Club is excited to present the 19th annual NISH POMBO Paddlefest Miami. The Festival is a 4-day event to be held at the Miami Rowing club (3601 Rickenbacker Causeway, Key Biscayne, FL 33149) on Virginia Key in sight of downtown Miami, from Thursday Nov 11th to Sunday Nov 14th, 2021 Thu-Fri- 11th & 12th- Clinics (OC1 / OC6 / e-Foil) Saturday Nov 13th OC6 Race Mens/Womens & Mixed Sunday Nov 14th OC1/2, SUP, Surf ski, Prone.

101 Surf Sports Charity Paddle Race #2

The 101 Surf Sports Charity paddle race series is perfect for first time racers and elite athletes. Racing is capped at 75 participants so sign up early. Racing occurs on the San Rafael Canal with a 2 mile protected short course that is perfect for first time racers. Elite athletes can choose our 6 mile course that usually circumnavigates the Marin Islands. The November Race Benefits the Global Medical Relief Fund that helps children who are missing or have lost the use of their limbs, have been severely burned, or are otherwise damaged due to the atrocities of war, natural disaster or illness.
