With Stop #1 in Hawaii now complete, the world's best athletes' sights are now set on Brazil (with details to follow next week) for stop #2, as the action will heat up once again, and a now familiar rivalry will intensify with World #1 Kai Lenny (Naish) and #2 Caio Vaz (Art in Surf) battling it out on Caio's home turf.
Also watch closely for the young guns to make their presence felt, as Hawaii's Mo Freitas (Focus SUP) secured his first win on the World Tour in Brazil and is half Brazilian, not to mention the other rising star, Poenaiki Raioha (F-One), who will be excited to return home to Tahiti at the end of the May for the Sapinus Pro.
However, it is not only about the kids, as Justin Holland (Starboard) showed at Sunset, putting it all on rail and demonstrating some real power surfing to earn his place in the Final 4 at Stop 1. The talent runs deep here on the Stand Up World Tour, and with the most exciting line up of high profile events yet for the 2015 season, coupled with the most exciting line-up of World Class athletes, it will be a year to remember, as the World's best battle it out for the World Championship crown.
