KAPP Announces the Inaugural K-SUP Cup: Expanding Stand Up Paddleboarding Across Korea

KOREA - Pursuing its goal of growing the sport of Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) in Korea, KAPP proudly announces the creation of the K-SUP Cup, a series of SUP competitions and festivals aimed at developing the discipline and increasing its accessibility across Korea.
In 2024, the K-SUP Cup will feature two events, attracting paddlers from all over the country and participants from across Asia and beyond.
The K-SUP Cup offers something for everyone, from introductory sessions for first-timers and beginners to races for the younger generation, amateurs, and elite paddlers. Regardless of skill level, participants can enjoy SUP and connect with the community in the beautiful locations of Gangneung and Danyang.
Mark Your Calendars: Two Amazing Events
- Gangneung: Starts on June 8th through 9th at the stunning Songjeong Beach, known for its serene pine-lined shores, as we kick off the first leg of the K-SUP Cup.
- Danyang: Experience the natural beauty of Danyang, with its majestic mountains and river vistas, during the second leg on August 3rd and 4th.

Both competitions will be part of larger marine festivals, offering additional excitement for families and friends with various activities and experience programs and entertainment including busking and dance performances.
The K-SUP Cup promises to be an exciting competition and a significant step forward in the development of SUP in Korea.
