SIC Welcomes Talia Gangini To The Team!

SAN CLEMENTE, California - SIC announced the signing of Maui Standup Paddler and 2012 M20 champion Talia Gangini. Talia will join Elite Paddlers Livio Menelau, Andre Mollier, Georges Cronsteadt on the SIC Global team.
Talia was the youngest woman to ever compete in the Molokai to Oahu M20 race at just 14 years old. In 2012 at the age of 19 Talia finished first in front of her paddle racing inspiration and previous M20 champion Andrea Mollier. Not only did Talia finish first she also set the new women’s record with a time of 4:55:02.
“We are very excited to have Talia join the team,” said Braly Joy, SIC’s Director of Marketing. “Talia is a great fit for the SIC family. She wins races, rips on a SUP Surf board is an amazing ambassador to the sport, and most importantly she does it with a big smile on her face.”
Talia lives and trains on Maui and will be working with SIC MAUI founder and master shaper Mark Raaphorst and the rest of the SIC team to advance the brands awareness and global reach. “I am so excited and honored to be on a team with Andre Mollier, Jeremy and Livio”. Said Talia. “I am really looking forward to the new season and being sponsored by SIC means I will be on the fastest boards”
