Attending a standup paddle boarding event is one of the best ways to enjoy the sport. Conquer the Current
This is a One Way 9 Mile Race, Point A to Point B. Registrants must find their own rides to/from each location. This fun race/ regatta is open to all non-motorized, safe, and seaworthy paddle craft including but not limited to: canoes, kayaks, stand up/ prone paddleboards, rowboats, surf skis, shells, currachs, OC's. The Connecticut River Museum’s Sixth annual downriver paddle regatta benefits the Museum’s education programs.

Ohio River Paddlefest Races
Bring your SUP, kayak, canoe, tandem, or prone and join Adventure Crew, The Explore Kentucky Initiative, Stand Up Paddle Cincinnati, at the Ohio River Paddlefest. Racers will be a part of the nation's largest paddling celebration, leading over 2,000 recreational paddlers down a closed course on the Ohio River, passing through downtown Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Race entry includes all Ohio River Paddlefest perks, like free shuttles, and invitation to the Outdoors for All Expo on Friday, August 4.

Water & Dirt Festival
From whitewater to flatwater to fishing, this event has it all. The festival includes the Upper Ottawa River race, a Doggy Paddle and Hell's Half Mile SUP Race that will challenge your SUP skills! Speed and agility are what you will need to conquer Hell's Half Mile. The Upper Ottawa River Race is comprised of multiple races, all taking place on the mighty and historic Ottawa River. The event features kayak, canoe, outrigger, prone, and stand-up paddling (SUP) races on the Ottawa River (13km, 4 km, or kids races).

Ta-Hoe Nalu Paddle Festival
Over the years, the Ta-Hoe Nalu Lake Tahoe Paddle Festival has established itself as a gathering of family, friends, and paddle enthusiasts from all walks of life. This year, we are again offering divisions for Outrigger, Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP), Prone, and Surfski, providing an all-inclusive platform for the paddling community to compete, connect, and celebrate. In addition to the competitive races, the festival will feature guided paddle tours throughout the weekend, offering participants and spectators an unparalleled opportunity to experience the crystal-clear waters of Lake Tahoe in a whole new light.

Wide Ride Tri
Come join us for the Wild Ride Triathlon in McCall, Idaho, August 12th. This is a USA triathlon sanctioned event. You can enter solo or as a 2 or 3 person team. Swim 3/4 mile or 3/4 mile paddle board. Mountain bike (3 laps of bike course) 18 miles. Trail run 6 miles. On-site cabins available on a first come first serve basis. Limited camping available also with shower house access, both with an additional fee and added in registration. You can arrive after 1pm on the Friday and depart by 11am on the Sunday.

Great Montana SUP Sprint
Join the thrilling river adventure in Superior, Montana, as the race opens up for participants aged 18 and older. The excitement kicks off with a dash to your boards, eagerly waiting for the action-packed journey down the Clark Fork River. Paddle through the heart of the town, covering just under a half-mile in heats of 20 paddlers, with a maximum cap of 200 paddlers in total. Only the top two finishers from each heat will advance to the finals, where the champions will be crowned and rewarded handsomely. The entry fee is only $30, and even if you don't have a board, worry not, as SUPs are available for rent and can be reserved when you sign up.

Whiskey Island Paddlefest
Challenge yourself with a 2-mile, 6-mile, youth, or kids’ stand up paddleboard or kayak race during the 9th annual Whiskey Island Paddlefest, or enjoy a paddle at your own pace during the Capture the Swag Fun Paddle! Whiskey Island Paddlefest is perfect for both beginners and advanced paddlers.

New London Cup
JOIN US in historic New London, Connecticut, on August 27th at 9am for a stand-up paddleboard race! Enjoy summer’s end at beautiful Ocean Beach Park with live music, local vendors, free SUP lessons and if you’re racing, plan for an extremely challenging long course, a demanding short course and a fun youth course. All proceeds from the event go towards swimming lessons for New London youth.

Paddle to a Cure
Get your paddles in the water and join us for the 2023 Paddle to a Cure as we paddle through the waterways of the Jersey Shore. Launching from the 81st Street Marina in Stone Harbor, Paddle to a Cure is a fully-supported paddle with support vessels and route options of 5K and 10K distances. Join us for a post-paddle lunch, recognition program and CF research and medical update. This unique event empowers participants to take action and demonstrate their fight in finding a cure for cystic fibrosis in a tangible,emotional and powerful way.
