The GLoFin is a fin that attaches to your SUP that has a lighting attachment to light up your nighttime SUP adventures. The fin works well for any skill level and is best suited for all around or touring paddling. The fin is available in three colors and is priced at $229.95 and works with just about any paddle board on the market. First Impressions
We'll come right out with it and say that the team at ESCA Surf have created the easiest way to light up your paddle board at night. Period. The GLoFin is really unique and you can see that there has put a lot of thought and detail into this product. The packaging alone is really nice and gives you a premium experience right out of the gates. The package provides you with everything that you need and comes with a nice handy kit to put your light in. One great feature is that the light is rechargeable, so there's no need for disposable batteries and has an easy-to-use on/off button. Super simple and user-friendly. Love it. But not just that, the light comes with different light modes so you can adjust to your wants/needs. Another great feature is that the fin can be used with or without the light and the light can be used on its own as well. So you're getting a fin AND a light. This is an excellent feature, especially for the paddlers who love going on overnight adventures and need to limit gear. The GLoFin is a great 2-for-1 here. And what's more, you can even swap the light out for a camera insert that ESCA Surf offers. Super cool. When it came down to installation of the fin, we used the screw in model and it was super easy and had zero issues. On the water, there was a slight drag, but nothing too noticeable and the added weight of the light in the fin was very slight. In short, it definitely didn't hinder the paddling experience whatsoever. Overall, ESCA Surf hit it out of the park with the GLoFin. It's a really unique, quality product that will definitely do the job in helping you paddle in the dark. Just make sure to select the right fin for your board (screw in, slide in, snap in). This is pretty much the coolest light up we've seen out there and it makes it so much easier for you to light up your board while you're out there so you can be seen.
