SAN DIEGO, California - May, 2014, has been an incredible month for the Supconnect Photo of the Month competition. Not only has the standard of entries been exceptional, we've had an amazing number of votes - which they deserve. In case you haven't heard yet, we'll be making an announcement in the next month or so regarding the grand Photo Of The Year prize. While we can't leak the exact details of this prize just yet, we will say that it's pretty amazing and that the winner will NOT be disappointed.
Without any further ado, we're pleased to congratulate Fadia Alli Bascom on her winning photo this month, entitled 'Mermaid in the Reflection'. The caption reads, "This picture was taken off of Shelter Island in San Diego. It was taken at the right time in the right place. It was luck that made it happen. Peace."

Fadia will be automatically entered into the Photo Of The Year showdown that takes place over the month of December, when all the monthly winners, plus a selection of the Supconnect staff's favorites shots from 2013, will compete for the grand prize. As we've said time and again, we love receiving your photos and encourage all Supconnect readers to please submit or vote. As a nod to the other entries in April, we've featured a selection of our staff favorites this month.
