SAN DIEGO, California – One of the most enjoyable things about stand up paddling is just how picturesque it can be. No matter where you are paddling, there are always fantastic shots to be had, whether it is from the view point of the rider or from a bystander.
This week, SUPconnect.com launched the first round of the 2011 SUP Photo Contest. Photos submitted to the contest were posted on the SUPconnect Facebook page and the voting process began on Monday, October 17th. Each individual can vote up to four times per photo by liking, sharing, and commenting on the photo on Facebook and by tweeting the title of the picture to @supconnect.
Didn’t know about the photo contest until now? Want to share an awesome shoot you got stashed away on your hard drive? There is still time!
Voting for the first round of photos officially ends this Sunday, October 23rd. The second round (yes there is a second round) will then commence on Monday, October 24th and will run for one week under the same voting guidelines mentioned above.
To be entered into the contest, submit one photo to erin@supconnect.com with title and location.
Once both rounds have completed, the top 25 photos will battle head-to-head for a final week (yes there is a final week) of voting. So what do you get for all this work you have to do with all the e-mailing of photos and what not (there really isn’t much else you have to do)?
For starters, your photo gets published on SUPconnect.com along with some serious bragging rights. But if you’re not the bragging type and are more into the whole tangible thing, then we got some SUP Connect t-shirts for the top three photos.
Point. Shoot. E-mail. Vote. Win. Wear.
