5. BOTE BOARD RELEASES 2014 CATALOGUE
~ HEAT SCORE {44} ~ BOTE Board has just released their highly anticipated 2014 Catalogue. This year is shaping up to be the biggest for BOTE, who will be showcasing their new Fish, Paddle and Surf SUP's at the Surf Expo trade Show in Orlando this week, from January 9-11, 2014. The 2014 catalogue takes you through the construction processes of BOTE's new range of Surf, Fish, Yoga and Race Boards.

4. amazing paddle experience with a sea-lion pup
~·HEAT SCORE {49}·~ SUP Chicks group member, Carla Stoner, had an amazing encounter during a whale-watching session in Cardiff, San Diego. Roughly four miles from shore, a tired and dehydrated seal pup took a break on her board and spent the better part of an hour with her - an experience she described as 'spiritual'. 1. Paddle For Rayelyn Update
~·HEAT SCORE {89}·~ Shane challenged the greater SUP community to join him in paddling for her this coming Martin Luther King Day - January, 20th. While he will be participating in a 24 Hour Ultra-Skate, competing as a land paddler with his trusty Billy Lush board and Perrin-Elite carbon paddle, Shane asked that others arrange their own events and pledge a dollar for every mile paddled for her cause. It's not asking much. Since his initial call for action, a selection of other paddlers have stepped up to organize their own events, which you can either join or support.
