HUNTINGTON BEACH, California – Stand up paddle boarding has seen its share of mainstream exposure recently. The sport has been featured in almost every major news outlet, including the New York Times, LA Times, Hunffington Post, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and more. Now Reuters, one of the world’s largest and most respected international news agency based in London, UK, has entered the roster.
Suplove, a stand up paddle board company based in Huntington Beach, California and Australia, is known for its grassroots involvement and local outreach within the sport. Among some of its local ambassadors is Yogaqua, a stand up paddle board class led by Sarah Tiefenthaler in Marina Del Rey, Los Angeles. Tiefenthaler and her crew were featured on Reuters’ slideshow showcasing the highly popular art of yoga on stand up paddle boards. This marks yet another chapter where stand up paddle boarding travels through the mainstream cyber waves to reach an even broader pool of potential enthusiasts.
