SUPsquatch Ride Gains Entry Into XXL Awards

MAKAHA, Hawaii - Over Valentines day weekend, internationally-known surfers Jamie O'Brien, Kalani Chapman, Kaikea Elias, Scotty Clelland, Sean McInerney, Brad Domke and Brian Emory (a.k.a Team Grom) took off of a bomb at Makaha on Oahu on their 17-foot "supsquatch" board.
After posting the video on their social media feeds, surfer Jamie O'brien decided to take it one more step and enter it into the XXL Big Wave Awards for Ride of the Year 2015 Group Entry. The video is definitely a must see and looks like it was an exhilarating time for these seven surfers to experience together.
On Jamie O'Brien's Instagram he said, "There's nothing better then catching a 18' Wave with 6 of your best friends!" If you had a chance to SUP on a supsquatch with six of your buddies at double-overhead Makaha, would you? Watch the video and tell us below!
