5.SUP Yoga Travel Video

SUP Yoga Brasil founder and owner, Bianca Guimaraes, has been keeping busy through the summer months at home. She recently shared this awesome compilation video of her and some good friends enjoying a trip to the Canyons in the Aparados da Serra National Park. While the beaches around Rio might dominate the international spotlight when it come sot surfing and paddling, this video shows an incredible gem hidden just further afield if you're willing to go exploring.

4. Slater Trout: On A Roll

Boardworks athlete Slater Trout has been up to some serious business on the race circuit this year and has won his 4th race in 2014. Slater spent his winter training hard in California and the payoff has shown big on the water this year! Not only has he pulled in some wins against tough competition, but has also earned a spot on Team USA for the ISA World Champs in Nicaragua by beating out some tough competition at the US Sup Tour in Huntington Beach.

3. KAI LENNY'S GOPRO TIPS

GoPro's are pretty awesome. In a very short space of time, they've taken high-resolution filming equipment and made it available to the everyman and woman out there. These fancy little cameras have exploded in the last few years after finding their ways into the hands of the world's elite athletes in just about every arena, including SUP. If you're considering buying or you've just bought one and suddenly find yourself asking 'what now?' here's Nasih athlete, Kai Lenny, with his op tips on mounting a camera to get the best angles.
2. Bailey Takes On The Molokai

One of the brightest east coast SUP talents, Bailey Rosen, is undertaking a monumental task this year - the Molokai 2 Oahu. It's arguably the most prestigious race and challenging events on the calendar, but a right of passage in many ways. Supconnect's Community Assistant, Alex Mauer, caught up with her last week to find out about her training schedule and preparation.

1. SUrf ARGUMENT Goes Viral

The Daily Mail (a UK-based tabloid) published this story about an argument between a surfer and a paddler. At a glance, it seems like a clear case of aquatic road rage - the surfer does himself no favors by swearing and getting riled up like a high-school kid on creatine. But he's also got a point.
