5. Heated Battles Rule the Day at 2017 Air France Paddle Festival

For its 4th consecutive year the Air France Paddle Festival has delivered a spectacular show. Spirits were high, the crowd came in full force and competition was fierce. With the new venue, a maxed out 8k amateur race and extra fun added this year it’s easy to claim this has been the best year yet. 4. Paddle Boarding Coron Island, Palawan, Philippines

Few destinations can hold a candle to the brilliance of Palawan. Located in the west of the Philippines, more than 1,780 islands form an archipelago that stretches almost as far south as Borneo and north to the island of Mindoro. With so many islands, comes a lot of coastline: 1,200 miles (almost 2,000 km)) in fact!
