Paddle Boarder Survives Great White Shark Attack in Mid-Atlantic

Kawika Matsu is currently recovering from a great white shark attack while paddle boarding in the Mid-Atlantic last week. While paddling off the coast of Ascension Island, the shark knocked Matsu off his paddle board and into the water, when it proceeded to bite him several times.

Body of Missing Paddle Boarder Found in Lake Tahoe

The body of a paddle boarder was discovered on Monday from Lake Tahoe, after more than a year since he went missing. Marc Ma went missing in June of 2016, while heroically trying to get help for a group of paddle boarders in need of rescue after strong winds picked up on Lake Tahoe.

Paddle Boarder Surrounded by Killer Whales in Deception Pass

Jennifer Willkie Bull had a paddle she’ll never forget as she found herself surrounded by a pod of orcas while paddle boarding on Deception Pass yesterday. She was able to capture the killer whale pod surrounding her and the Sound Yoga and SUP crew on video.

Lake Elsinore To Host 3rd Annual Standup To Alzeheimers

Bret Warner started Stand up to Alzheimer’s in 2013 as a way to help cope with his father’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis. Every year he has said he wouldn’t run another one, to which he listened the first time and took two years off, but after several location changes and help from the paddling community we are now a month away from the third event.
