Starboard Introduces "Pocket Of Plastic" Challenge

As stand up paddle boarders it is our duty to do our part to keep the oceans and waterways that we play in clean. With that in mind, the folks at Starboard are starting the “Pocket of Plastic” challenge with the goal for everyone to pick up trash when out on the water.

Standup For The Cure Continues To Make Strides With Breast Cancer In Muskegon!

The second Annual Standup for the Cure, Muskegon, hit the beach of Harbor Towne on Saturday morning to help continue the fight against breast cancer. The standup paddle board event is organized to help support the local affiliate of Susan G. Komen, a foundation dedicated to breast cancer research. Support was strong with 540 registered paddlers getting into gear for the 5K race on Muskegon Lake.

Jobe Announces “SUP 2 The People” Demo Tour

Jobe Watersports announced the details of its “SUP 2 The People” demo tour. The tour will launch on July 17, in Coronado, California. It includes stops in California, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Washington and Oregon before finishing on August 21 in Santa Barbara, California.

Annual Stand Up For Littles Paddle Set to Raise Support for Big Brothers Big Sisters Program

On July 23, eighteen paddle boarders will set out to complete a round trip paddle to the Isles of Shoals as part of the event called the Stand Up for Littles IOS Invitational. As a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire (BBBSNH), the charity paddle to the island chain, which is located approximately 6 miles off the New Hampshire coast, has become a staple in the Northern New England paddle board scene, and a bucket list event for many.

SUPKids Head To Noli SUP Race

After a successful launch on World Oceans Day and joining the Starboard SW Tiki Tour across California, Arizona & New Mexico, the SUPKids team are heading to Noli, Italy to run the first European SUPKids training program. They’ll be joining forces with the Noli SUP Race to run a 2-day training program for the founding SUPKids Delivery Centres in Europe. The training will take place on the 13 & 14 July, prior to the official start of the Noli event.
