Boarding Pass Excursion is a micro travel series designed to deliver stoke in 60 second bite sized pieces. The series follows Pau Hana Surf Supply founder, Todd Caranto, as he explores new places around the world to paddle and discovers the local Stand Up Paddle Boarding culture through: SUP yoga, SUP fishing, SUP surfing, and SUP Touring, always ready for a cold beer and fresh local grinds. On August 4th, Australian adventure athlete, Tarran Kent-Hume crossed the finish line in Stockholm with his team of 5 Stand Up Paddle Boarders. The adventure is a 700km paddle from Gothenburg to Stockholm via the Gota Canal and Baltic Sea. As well as being a world first it’s one of the toughest SUP events out there.

New startup Kayacat announced today that it is raising funds via a rewards crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to produce a new concept of boat. Kayacat set out to raise £80,000 on Kickstarter to produce the first batch of their invention that is set to open the personal watercraft market to new buyers.

The Newport SUP Cup is a family fun standup paddle race for a great cause based at the historic Newport Shipyard. Paddlers will navigate 3 or 6 mile courses around Goat Island, passing the Newport Harbor Lighthouse, Newport Bridge and other landmarks.
