Day 3 saw dramatic Men’s SUP and Paddleboard 20Km Long Distance Races at the 2015 ISA World StandUp Paddle and Paddleboard Championships. USA’s Danny Ching Wins SUP Race, Australia’s Lachie Lansdown Wins Paddleboard Race at 2015 ISA World StandUp Paddle and Paddleboard Championship Presented by Hotel Kupuri.

Starboard SUP ambassador Bart de Zwart recently set off on an incredible adventure around the world, what he calls 'The Ultimate Crossing.' During this excursion, Bart seeks to explore unseen places one normally wouldn't see or hear of, and he is exploring all of these places while on his SUP. His most recent stop took him to Ethiopia.

Following four laps around the 20KM course along the coastline of Sayulita, Riviera Nayarit, Mexico, the first medals and points were awarded at the 2015 ISA World StandUp Paddle and Paddleboard Championship Presented by Hotel Kupuri.

Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Surfing kicked off the week of competition at the 2015 ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championship Presented by Hotel Kupuri on Monday, May 11 in Sayulita, Riviera Nayarit, Mexico. The 2015 International Surfing Association (ISA) World Championship Series commenced on Sunday, May 10 with the first event of the year. The Opening Ceremony of the ISA World StandUp Paddle and Paddleboard Championship (WSUPPC) Presented by Hotel Kupuri was hosted in Sayulita, Nayarit, Mexico.

“Bayou philosopher” Jimbo Meador is a fascinating, multifaceted character whose experience in the realms of watercraft and outdoor life runs deep. An incessant innovator who has spent all of his 72 years on or near the water, he has been involved in designing, building and field testing numerous vessels and accessories, evolving most recently into the standup paddle board scene.

The fourth annual ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championship (WSUPPC) will take place May 10th to May 17th, 2015 in Sayulita, Mexico. In this fourth edition of the ISA World Championship, the best men and women from around the world will gather in Mexico to determine the Individual Gold Medalists in SUP Racing, Paddleboard Racing, SUP Surfing and the coveted World Team Champion Trophy.

Chattajack is a 31-mile SUP/Kayak race in Chattanooga, Tennessee with the Chattajack course running the length of the Tennessee River gorge. The course twists and turns through a gorge with walls rising on both sides of racers 800+ feet overhead. The 2015 Chattajack taking place on October 24 of this year will host 300 racers, up 100 from 2014.

Niel Bode, the missing man who did not return after paddle boarding on Wednesday in Waikiki, was found safely in waters about 3.5 nautical miles off Ewa Beach, according to the U.S. Coast Guard. He is reported to be in good condition, officials said.
