History happened this week as the stand up paddle surfing women converged upon the beach at Turtle Bay Resort to compete in the first ever women's competition in the Stand Up World Tour.
2013 looks to be even more exciting as the Waterman League is introducing a Women's World Championship Tour for SUP surfing that will run alongside the men's in Hawaii, Brazil, California and France.

After 3 lay days since the Da Hui Trials on Monday, athletes are now getting ready for a possible day of action tomorrow as the Main Event will get underway here at the Sunset Beach Pro, presented by Malibu and Starboard and in association with Maui Jim Eyewear.
