Chase Kosterlitz Joins JP Australia International SUP Team

AUSTRALIA - JP-Australia has officially signed professional stand up paddler, Chase Kosterlitz, to the international SUP team. During his five years as a professional paddler, Chase has competed across the United States and around the world. Throughout his paddling career, he has won some of the sport’s biggest races including the Battle of the Paddle distance race and the Lost Mills SUP Championship. Chase is also heavily involved in helping grow the sport as a professional paddler, coach and president of the Stand Up Paddle Athletes Association.
“I’m excited to join JP Australia’s premier team of paddlers and their world class shaper, Werner Gnigler. JP-Austraila has a strong international presence and I’m pleased to represent the brand in the United States. I look forward to working with everyone to continue improving their industry leading SUP designs,” says Chase.
JP-Australia Division Manager for Americas, Garry Menk, says, “I am beyond excited to have Chase as part of our team. He has been a highly respected athlete and ambassador to our sport since its beginning. As our new Team Rider, Social Media Head and West Coast Representative, Chase will be an intricate part of JP’s growth and continued success.”

He brings a lot of expertise and knowledge about the sport with him and is one of the top racers around today,” says Martin Brandner, JP Brand Manager. “We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with him. Chase will be working closely with Marko Postonjski our SUP product manager and Werner Gnigler our shaper to further develop our product line.”
In addition to racing, Chase will be representing JP as the west coast sales rep at demo’s and events all year. “I am looking forward to introducing west coast paddlers to the full range of JP-Australia boards. I’ve known of JP’s brand excellence since I began stand up paddling. I’m excited to use the boards in competition and to share them with others.”
